Types of Led Underwater Light Transformers:

Ordinary Transformer: Ordinary coil transformer.

1. Configure a suitable transformer according to the total power of the LED underwater light

Generally speaking, the utilization rate of the transformer is 75% more suitable,

that is, the 100W transformer drives the lamps of no more than 75W. 

Pay attention to the incoming and outgoing wires of the transformer.

2. The distance between the transformer and the lamp

Due to the resistance of the wire itself, a part of the voltage will be distributed, resulting in the voltage of the remote underwater lamp being less than 12V.

Therefore, the distance between the underwater light and the transformer outlet should not be too far. 

If the distance is too far, the number of transformers can be increased.

3. Do a good job of waterproofing

Do a good job of waterproofing the connection between the power supply and the transformer, and the transformer and the underwater light - use a waterproof junction box and sealant.

4. The safest way in theory is to put the high-voltage (220V) part outside the water surface, and the low-voltage part can be placed in the water.
